Travis joined Ground Studio with 24 years of experience, focused on the documentation and implementation of landscapes. His background, technical knowledge, and attention to detail support the work of the studio, helping carry projects thoughtfully from design through construction.
His perspective on landscape architecture is centered on the idea of connections. Connections between environment and ecosystem, between landscape and architecture, between spaces, between materials and how they come together, and ultimately between people and the landscape. This way of thinking guides how he approaches the work day to day.
As Technical Director, he brings this perspective into each project, working to ensure that ideas are clearly translated, well documented, and carefully implemented in a way that does justice to both the design and the people they’re meant for.
