Katarina Dunn

Katarina joined Ground Studio in early 2026. Her perspective is shaped by a childhood split between the coastal landscape of New Jersey and the quiet horizons of the Midwest. This early exposure to diverse environments, paired with a natural artistic sensibility, led her to earn her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Ball State University. She later spent several years practicing in Colorado, where she gained a deep appreciation for the rugged beauty and resilient ecology of the Mountain West.

An avid painter and photographer, Katarina draws inspiration from time spent hiking and exploring the backcountry. She focuses on the intersection of art and ecology, striving to design evocative places where people can truly experience the wonder of the natural world. Her experience creating public art murals uniquely informs her design approach, allowing her to craft immersive spaces that invite users to engage deeply with their surroundings.
